At INDEPENDENCE WORLD we strive to provide our Clients and Customers with the correct products and services however on occasion certain products may need to be returned or a refund given, we are happy to do so provided certain criteria is met.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Goods will only be accepted for return or exchange if INDEPENDENCE WORLD is advised within seven business days from the date of the invoice. We are unable to accept returns of products that have been opened or used, or for products specifically ordered to fill your order. Proof of purchase must accompany the returned products. Refund amount does not include postage or delivery charge and return of the product is at your own cost, except if the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or short supplied.
RETURN OF FAULTY ITEMS
Our Customer Service Team must be advised of any faulty, damaged, incorrect or short supplied products with seven business days from the date of invoice. Our Customer Service Team will then advise on how we will correct these matters and if need by how to return these goods to us. Once we receive the goods at our office and have checked them and they are considered faulty, damaged, incorrect or short supplied, a credit will be give to your account or a return provided, including return postage costs if applicable. A credit will not be applied to your account or exchange given until we receive and check the goods upon being returned to our office.
Some medical and mobility equipment may need to be sent away to a manufacturer for testing. In this case no refunds or exchanges will occur until the manufacturer has advised INDEPENDENCE WORLD of any faults in the equipment. Our Customer Service Team will advise on how long this will take and any other solution we can provide in the meantime.
SERVICE AND REPAIRS
When a product is in need of service or repair we will endeavour to do so as quickly as possible without compromising on warranties or quality. Our Customer Service Team will keep you up to date with repairs status and an expected return time. We do not, however, take responsibility for the length of time a manufacturer or other third party needs to repair or service any of our products.
